Terms and Conditions
YOUR PLACE ON THE TRIAL
All players will need to register on our website and complete our online booking form found at https://footballfuturesgroup.com/showcase-trial-events
If we accept your request for a place on the Trial, we will then send you a payment link. Once your payment has been processed, we will send you a confirmatory email. By us sending the Confirmation we have accepted your request for a place on the Trial and an agreement has been formed between you and us in accordance with the terms set out herein.
Refund and Refusal Policy
All payments made are non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any payment at our discretion.
Guarantees
You should understand and agree that despite your or our best efforts, your attendance on a Trial in no way guarantees or ensures that you will be scouted by a professional football club.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to accompany you to the Trial. Spectators must:
- Act appropriately and show respect to coaches, staff, fellow spectators and other participants.
- Follow all directions laid out by staff regarding viewing and spectating.
Participants
Throughout the trial, participants will be expected to behave appropriately. This includes:
- Not behaving disruptively, dangerously or disrespectfully towards coaches, staff or other attendees.
If inappropriate behaviour is identified, the participant may be asked to leave the trial. There will be no refund if this is the case and the attendee may be refused to take part in future trial events.
Medical Conditions
It is the responsibility as the parent/guardian of any attendee to identify any medical conditions or concerns and inform the lead co-ordinator of showcase trials. Any participants 18 or over will also be required to notify us of any medical conditions. You must ensure that you are physically fit and able to participate in the Trial. Don’t worry, if you get injured just prior to the trial event, we will rearrange for you.
Photograph and video consent
We may take photographs, film, digital video tape, audio and other recordings of you and your performance of the trial for our social media and website. By participating in the trial you give consent for yourself/child to be used for potential promotion of the business, likeness and your name where appropriate for our reasonable commercial purposes without any restriction, compensation or remuneration or imposing any restriction, or seeking any compensation or remuneration.
We do not allow any external other filming/recording equipment at the Trial other than our own. We do however allow you to photograph your own child/yourself as a individual picture (as long as you don’t get others in the photo). Please feel free to use and share these individual photos on things such as social media, (ps, please tag us in @footballfuturesgroup).
Cancellations
In the unlikely event that your Trial is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or due to insufficient participant numbers, we will inform you by telephone and/or email as soon as possible and will offer you an alternative date and/or location.
Changes to terms and conditions
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Users are responsible for reviewing these terms regularly to ensure they are aware of any changes.
Scouts
We cannot guarantee all scouts will attend all events, (we aim for 10) but we always guarantee a minimum of 2-3 per event. Don’t forget, you only need to impress 1 at the right place at the right time!
PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will only use the information that you provide us for specific and relevant business purposes; we will not pass you details on to any 3rdparties.
Non-resident of the European Union
If you are not a resident of the European Union please ensure that you are able to travel to and participate in the Trial before making your request for a place. We will not under any circumstances offer or provide visitor visa invitation letters (or any equivalent) to participants. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can travel to and participate in the Trial and, if you are due to attend the Trial but are unable to do so because of visa or travel issues, you will only be entitled to a refund.
PRICE AND PAYMENT
Payment for the Trial will be made through our payment partners Paypal. By making a payment through such providers you will be accepting their terms and conditions. We do not, and shall not, at any time hold any of your credit/debt card details and should you have any issue with regard to payment please contact the payment provider.
LOSS OR DAMAGE SUFFERED BY YOU
Football Futures Group has the appropriate liability insurance cover both public and employers for such sporting and training activities.
Except in respect of death or personal injury resulting from any negligence or fraud by us, or our officers, employees, subcontractors or agents, we will not be responsible in any way (and we hereby exclude any liability) for, whether in tort, contract or otherwise:
- any injury sustained or illness suffered by you or anyone accompanying you whilst travelling to, during or after the Trial;
- any loss of or damage to any property belonging to you during the Trial resulting from any cause whatsoever;
- for any loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity or any indirect, economic or consequential losses whatsoever; and/or
- any losses arising from any cancellation, postponing or rearranging of a Trial, including but not limited to, any indirect or consequential losses or damage for travel and accommodation.
